Swan girl depicts an age of innocence before motherhood, I created her when I was thinking about my eldest child, G who turned 30 this year. I wonder if any of us truly know what the parenting path has in store for us.
I remember being so overwhelmed despite having read the books, having my mum there and employing an au pair to help.
I was blessed to go on and have two more children and have loved my parenting years despite the challenges.
Now that they are all adults I feel I am reconnecting back to Swan girl as she gently guides me into this new stage of my life.
