The Fig Tree

In the middle of our driveway on the way up to our house is the most enormous Moreton Bay Fig Tree. It has buttress roots the size of a wardrobe and you feel enveloped by its presence when you stand up against it. The kids tried to climb it when they were younger but honestly it is just massive. I find it to be the most magnificent presence on our farm, a comforting hug just knowing that it is there.
